Toshiba Thrive Android Honeycomb tablet now just $290 from Woot!
Last week Vizio’s 8-inch tablet appeared on Woot! for just $160, and today a Woot! for Toshiba’s Thrive tablet got Woot!ed for just $290. The Thrive offers a feature set on par with most Android Honeycomb tablets – it features a 10.1-inch 1280×800 screen, a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, SD card support, front (2MP) and rear (5MP) cameras, a full-size HDMI port, b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0. As far as small print goes, Woot!’s Thrive is refurbished, but the device does come with a 90 day warranty. Woot! will also ensure that the Thrive arrives by Christmas, making the device a nice stocking stuffer.
To buy the Thrive, just click here. As with other Woot! deals, this deal will expire when Woot!’s inventory sells out or by 10pm PT tomorrow, whatever comes first.
Vizio’s 8-inch Android tablet makes an appearance on Woot! for $160
We haven’t heard much about Vizio’s VTAB1008-B Android tablet since the device was unveiled at last year’s CES. But those of you still interested in the device can now have it for $160 from Woot! – a relative steal considering the device retails for about $300. Woot! will also throw in a folio case for the VTAB1008-B.
Keep in mind that Woot! is selling a refurbished 4GB version of the VTAB1008-B, and the device won’t make it to your doorstep before Christmas.
Woot!: ViewSonic’s 10.1” gTablet just $280 for one day only
Not feeling the Motorola XOOM’s $600 price tag? Save yourself three bills and surf on over to Woot.com, where ViewSonic’s gTablet is available for just $280.
Like the XOOM, the gTablet rocks a 10.1” screen on an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The device also features a 1.3MP camera for web conferencing, WiFi and Bluetooth. The gTablet comes with 16GB of memory installed via microSD card, which you can update to 32GB if you like. The device can also output 1080p video with an optional HDMI dock.
Sure, the gTablet only runs Android 2.2, not Google’s Android 3.0 tablet OS. Also, the device’s 512MB of memory is a bit small compared to other recently released tablets. But the device’s $280 price tag is hard to beat, and as with other Woot! deals it will be available for one day only.
