Viewsonic’s Dual OS Windows/Android VS14406 tablet hits the FCC
Can’t decide whether you want an Android or a Windows tablet? Take a look at Viewsonic’s VS14406 tablet PC. This tablet allows users to switch between Windows and Android on the fly thanks to the device’s OSSwitcher application, below. It’s a cool concept in theory, although we’d like to see the VS14406 in action before getting too excited.
https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=624322&fcc_id=%27GSS-VS14406%27 for the VS14406 show support for WiFi and Bluetooth. The device relies on an Intel Atom Oak Trail processor, and external photos of the device show a screen that appears to be 7-inches. Unfortunately, Viewsonic’s FCC filings don’t reveal much else, nor do we have any idea about the VS14406’s release date or pricing.
