Samsung’s SCH-i815 tablet first appeared on the Bluetooth SIG site back in September. The device was later identified as a version of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 – Samsung’s 7-inch Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet. Today, the SCH-i815 hit the FCC, rocking LTE band 13 and CDMA 800/1900. That’s a sure sign that the device is coming to Verizon Wireless in the United States.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a 1280×800 Super AMOLED display, a Samsung dual-core 1.4GHz processor, up to 64GB of internal storage, microSD external storage, front (2MP) and rear (3MP) cameras, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It’s unclear if the SCH-i815 will offer this same feature set, but at the very least we’d expect something in the same ballpark – we just wish the device gets a camera upgrade.
