Bookeen’s Orizon eBook reader lays claim to “world’s thinnest” title

Generally speaking, eBook readers aren’t very thick to begin with, but Bookeen is gunning for the title of world’s thinnest eBook reader with its Orizon device, which passed through the FCC today.  Measuring only 0.29” thick, the Orizon is definitely quite slim.  The device also features a 6” SiPix ePaper display with a 600 x 800 resolution, 2GB of internal storage, and external storage up to 8GB supported via microSD.  The Orizon supports Adobe ePUB, giving users access to Google books, among other eBook sources.

The Orizon is available for $249 and comes in black and white versions.  You can pick one up directly from Bookeen here.
