Bluetooth Keyboard Silicone case combines an iPad case with a Bluetooth keyboard

image

Here’s an interesting idea from Shenzhen Paoluy Silicone Technology Co., Ltd.  The company’s BL-BKB76 iPad case features an integrated Bluetooth keyboard that allows the iPad to be easily propped up in a laptop-like configuration.

The case’s keyboard features a dedicated Bluetooth connect button for quick pairing with the iPad, as well as an internal rechargeable battery that has a reported standby time of 100 days and an uninterrupted working time of 90 hours.  The battery reaches full charge in 4 to 4.5 hours.

There’s no word when the BL-BKB76 will be released, or how much it will cost, but the device passed through the FCC Friday suggesting that we will see it soon.  Clearly Shenzhen Paoluy isn’t a well-known branded in the States, so we’re guessing that the case will be rebranded before it reaches US shores.

RockBand 3 wireless keyboard wins FCC approval

image

News of a RockBand 3 keyboard surfaced back in June, and today the device made an appearance on the FCC.  As you can see below, the device consists of the keyboard itself, as well as a wireless USB dongle that connects to your console (in this case, the Wii).

A few interesting features of the keyboard (details below) include a touchstrip for producing unique sound effects and overdrive button.  The device also has a 3.5mm overdrive jack and a MIDI out port.

The RockBand 3 set is scheduled for release in October this year.image

Rollable keyboard with Bluetooth goodness passes through the FCC

image image

This silicon Bluetooth keyboard from Chin Fai Electronics Company passed through the FCC today.  Available in red or pink, this keyboard has a rubberized texture that allows the keyboard to be rolled up.

Although there are a ton of rollable keyboards out there, this is the first one we’ve seen that takes advantage of Bluetooth goodness.  That’s a big plus that enables this keyboard to be used with a wide range of devices, including notebooks, PDAs and some mobile phones.  Charging via USB is a convenient feature, as well.

No word on pricing or availability, but Chin Fai will likely rebrand this keyboard if it comes to the States.

Freedom Pro Keyboard – foldable typing goodness

Tired of your virtual mobile phone keyboard?  This Bluetooth keyboard from Freedom Input UK Limited gives you a nearly full sized typing surface that can fold in half for improved portability.

With support for BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Symbian devices, this keyboard is ideal for situations where you don’t feel like breaking out your notebook, but still need to churn out a bunch of text.  Sadly, the Freedom Pro Keyboard lacks iPhone support at this time.

Rubber Bluetooth keyboard is roll-able, cannot be put in oven

image

This Bluetooth keyboard from Chin Fai Electronics company is made of roll-able silicon goodness.  That’s great if you’re taking it on the road and don’t have a lot of room to stow a traditional keyboard.

Although Chin Fai Electronics isn’t exactly a well-known brand in the US, I’d bet that we see this keyboard in the States under a generic brand sometime soon.

Do note, however, that according to Chin Fai, this keyboard cannot be put in the oven, or “putted on the fire to teast.”  That’s right, just because this keyboard is rubber doesn’t mean you can use it in a fire.

Oh, and don’t take a knife to it either, ok?
