ASUS’ Windows Phone 7 E600 smartphone gets pictured, torn down
With Windows Phone 7 phones from LG, Samsung and HTC already available, Asus hasn’t been getting much attention in the WP7 space. That’s too bad, because their E600 Windows Phone 7-powered smartphone appears to actually be a pretty attractive device.
This weekend, a host of internal and external photos of the device were released by the FCC, as well as an abbreviated user manual. There’s not a whole lot new going on with the E600 – we see a familiar Qualcomm SnapDragon processor along with obligatory WiFi and Bluetooth chips. Hynix NAND does make an appearance on the E600, meaning that we won’t have to deal with pesky micro SD cards for internal storage on the device.
