The Samsung BT-B7330D passed through the FCC today with GSM 850/1900 and WCDMA II and IV bands. The device also features Bluetooth and b/g WiFi. Label pics of the device show a smartphone form factor.
800 numbers on the FCC label suggest that the BT-B7330D will be offered in the US, and WCDMA bands II and IV indicate a release on AT&T.
The P9020 slider from Pantech, pictured above, passed through the FCC today. This odd-looking device measures 3.67” x 2.51” x 0.58”, and sports a 2.8” display.
Despite its small form factor, the P9020 sports a full QWERTY keypad, along with email, texting, and instant messaging features. The device can also record video and still images, and play back multimedia content.
The P9020’s user manual mentions several AT&T wireless services, including AT&T’s Navigator service, AT&T Radio, and access to AT&T apps. The device also has limited access to the web, although only mobile web content is supported.
The P9020 is a quad-band GSM phone with support for 850 and 1900 WCDMA bands. No word on pricing or availability.
Sure, AT&T’s mobile coverage may be packed with dead zones, but things look better when you supplement AT&T’s network with Terrestar’s satellite network.
The Genus satellite phone does exactly that. This Windows Mobile 6.5 device combines a quad band GSM phone with a satellite phone, all in a compact Motorola Q-ish package. The Genus has a 2.6 touchscreen, 3 MP camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and microSD expansion as well.
There’s no word in pricing, but generally satellite phones don’t come cheap…both the phone and satellite voice calls will likely be pricey. The Genus is expected to be released in Q1 2010, so there should be more info on the device coming out soon.
Dell passed the Mini 3iX smartphone through the FCC today. This device is the US version of Dell’s Mini 3i, a similar Android device that the company is selling in China.
While the FCC filing does not reveal much, the test report does show that the phone will run on 850/1900 GSM/UMTS bands, a good indication that the phone is headed for AT&T.
Other specs that have been leaked around the net include a 3.5” capacitive touchscreen, 3MP camera and LED Flash.
