We’ve been waiting for the Archos 9 for a few months now.  The original October 22nd release date has passed, but at least today we have some info on pricing.  The Archos 9 is now available for pre-order on Archos’ website for $549.99.  Still, there is no word on when the device will be released.

Additionally, internal pics of the device are now available on the FCC website.  The pics show a Broadcom WiFi module, and Toshiba HDD (although SSD options are available as well).

The Windows 7 tablet looks quite impressive, although the Archos 9’s 1.1 GHz Atom processor seems a bit underpowered.  Archos says the 9 is capable of displaying 1080p video though, so it’ll be interesting to see this device in action.
