We posted a single DIN car audio system yesterday, and today a double DIN model with the same features hit the FCC.  It’s a hefty model with tons of features, like TV, GPS, DVD playback and bluetooth goodness.

No idea if or when this thing will hit the US.  It looks like this is an OEM approval at this point, and it will probably need to find a brand before it hits the US.

I never understood open air motorcycle speakers…I mean, can you really even hear anything when you’re on the freeway in the open air going 80 mph with your speakers blasting?

BMW’s answer is to put bluetooth-powered speakers in the helmet itself for music listening and phone talking while on the road.  Seems like a solid idea to me.
