Belkin’s WeMo Baby monitor hits the FCC
Most baby monitors allow you to spy on your toddler from a different room in the house. But thanks to Belkin, parents can now monitor their babies from anywhere they have an internet connection. Belkin’s WeMo Baby monitor streams audio over the Internet to your iOS device. Simply download the WeMo Baby app, plug in the WeMo Baby monitor and connect the device to your WiFi network and you’re good to go.
Belkin’s WeMo Baby legalese emphasizes that the WeMo Baby is not intended to replace adult supervision. But the WeMo Baby does seem like a good way to give parents some peace of mind when their child is under the supervision of a baby sitter, for example.
The WeMo Baby is the latest addition to Belkin’s WeMo line of home automation and monitoring products. The device is expected to cost $100.
