Philips wants to help you to keep track of your valuables.  The company’s In.Range system uses a free app and Bluetooth leash to alert users when their valuables are separated from their iPhone.  The system appears to work elegantly:  simply launch the app, pair with an In.Range leash, set a range, and you’re all set.  The In.Range leash works with all sorts of valuables, including keys, wallets, computers…hell – you could even stick one around the neck of a kid.  Once the iPhone running Philips’ In.Range app is separated from a registered In.Range leash you will be alerted.

Seems like a great system…as long as you don’t lose your iPhone first.
