LG’s ultra-thin Prada K2 (P940) hits the FCC with Prada headset
Images of LG’s Prada P940 K2 leaked late last month, and today the device passed through the FCC. The Prada K2 won FCC approval for dual-band Wireless-N WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM/EDGE bands 850 and 1900, as well as the 1900 WCDMA band. This is LG’s third iteration of its Prada headset, and the first member of the Prada line that runs Android.
The Prada K2 is expected to feature a 4.3-inch NOVA display, dual-core processor, 8MP rear facing camera, 1.3MP front facing camera and Android 2.3. The device will also measure just 8.8mm thin, slightly thinner than Apple’s iPhone 4S. FCC filings also reveal that the Prada K2 will have a Prada-branded headset/mic.
No word yet on pricing or a release date for the Prada K2.
