Novatel’s MiFi 4620L portable LTE hotspot hits the FCC, ready to travel the world
Looking to buy an LTE hotspot, but don’t want to be tied to a single carrier? Novatel’s MiFi 4620L hotspot supports nearly every GSM band used worldwide, as well as the CDMA/EVDO bands used by Verizon and Sprint and LTE band 13. That means that you can use the 4620L nearly anywhere in the world, while still having the choice between AT&T and Verizon for LTE in the US.
The MiFi 4620L hit the FCC today, and appears ready to launch soon. Novatel hasn’t announced an official release date or pricing for the device.
