HTC unveiled the Explorer late last month, and today the device made an appearance on the FCC.  The Explorer, known by the model number PJ03110 in FCC filings, won approval for GSM 850 and 1900 bands, and WCDMA band V.

The Explorer is an entry-level Android 2.3 smartphone with a 600MHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM, and a 3MP camera.  The device will be launched in EMEA this month.  HTC has not yet announced a US launch date for the Explorer.
