The Galaxy Tab 7.7 hits the FCC, rounds out Samsung’s tablet lineup
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab 7.7 earlier this month, and today the device won approval from the FCC. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 will, not surprisingly, feature a 7.7-inch Super AMOLED plus display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, Android 2.3, a dual-core 1.4GHz processor, and between 16 and 64GB of storage. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 won approval for its Bluetooth and dual-band Wireless-N capabilities, although FCC filings made no mention of 3G.
We don’t have any word on pricing or a ship date for the Galaxy Tab 7.7, however it looks like Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 8.9 will start shipping on October 2nd, so we’d expect the 7.7 to follow shortly after.
