Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for T-Mobile hits the FCC with 4G
Samsung’s SGH-T859 tablet first popped up on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification site back in July 2011. Today, the device made its way through the FCC, and appears to be headed to T-Mobile. Test reports for the SGH-T859 indicates that it supports GSM 850 and 1900 bands, as well as T-Mobile’s WCDMA 1700 3G/4G band. A “4G” logo is also displayed prominently on the back of the SGH-T859.
Measurements of the SGH-T859 in test reports, below, show a 10.1-inch screen as well as a front and rear facing cameras. You can also see that the back of the SGH-T859 looks similar to other Galaxy Tab 10.1 models, confirming that the SGH-T859 will be T-Mobile’s version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
No word on pricing or a release date for the SGH-T859 yet.
