Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 designed for Asian markets wins FCC approval
Last month a 3G version of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android 3.0 tablet appeared on the FCC with support for AT&T’s 3G bands. Today a similar version of the device, likely designed for Asian markets, won FCC approval. Known as the SHW-M300S, the device supports the GSM 1900 band used by several carriers in Asia, as well as the Americas and Europe. Bluetooth listings for the device indicate that the SHW-M300S is targeted at the Asian market.
No word on a release date for the SHW-M300S, but its fair to expect that the device will be available soon as Samsung continues to roll out the Galaxy Tab 10.1 globally.
