Toshiba ET100/WT100 Android 3.0 tablet wins FCC approval
Toshiba recently unveiled plans to release an Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet, and today the device made its way through the FCC. According to FCC test reports, two versions of the tablet, the ET100 and WT100, won FCC approval for WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities. It appears that both ET and WT versions of the device are essentially identical.
Toshiba’s still unnamed tablet will offer an impressive feature set that includes a 10.1-inch LED display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor running at 1.0GHz, up to 32GB of internal storage with additional storage supported via SD slot, front (2MP) and rear (5MP) cameras with 720p video capture, a full size HDMI port and an optional dock.
Not bad, right?
Toshiba has not released official pricing or a release date, but today’s FCC filing suggests that we will be seeing the device soon.
