Acer unveiled its Iconia A500 Tab at Mobile World Congress this year, and late yesterday the device made an appearance on the FCC. The 10.1” Android 3.0 tablet features a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, Flash 10.1 support, a front camera that Acer describes as HD, a rear 5MP camera and 1080p output via HDMI.
The Iconia tab will have WiFi and Bluetooth wireless capabilities, with optional 3G available as well. However yesterday’s FCC filing for the device only listed WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities.
Acer plans to release the Iconia A500 Tab in April 2011, and yesterday’s FCC filing suggests that the device is right on schedule. No word yet on pricing.
