AOC’s E800 8” Android tablet joins the crowded tablet market

AOC is mostly known for their PC monitors and televisions, but it looks like the company, like so many others, is getting into the tablet game as well.  Today, AOC passed the 8” Android 2.1 tablet, pictured above, through the FCC.  The device is known as the E800, and it rocks 512MB of RAM, 2GB of internal flash, SD external storage support up to 16GB and a 3500mAh battery.  The E800 relies on WiFi for its internet connection, and the device’s user manual makes no mention of 3G capabilities.

No word on pricing or a release date, but AOC does offer its current products through RadioShack, so perhaps the E800 will be making its way to The Shack as well.
