LG’s Mini Tablet hits the FCC with T-Mobile AWS bands
Developing: It’s been a busy day for LG, with the company announcing a new glasses-free 3D TV, the ultra slim Optimus Black Android phone, as well as a host of other home electronics including TVs, Blu Ray players and appliances. But it appears that LG may still have something up its sleeves for CES this year – a few minutes ago, the company passed a “mini-tablet” called the V909 through the FCC.
Test reports show that the device will support GSM 850 and 1900 bands, as well as the AWS WCDMA band used by T-Mobile USA. The V909 will also feature Bluetooth and WiFi.
We don’t have a good image of the device, other than the label location picture, below. Judging by the size of the device’s label, we’d guess that this is a 7” tablet.
LG hinted at a upcoming tablet announcement today, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the company formally unveils the V909 tomorrow at CES.![]()
