Rumors of an upcoming Verizon iPhone may have been confirmed over the New Year’s weekend when case manufacturer Case-Mate accidentally launched a page dedicated to the Verizon iPhone 4.  Links to the Verizon iPhone page can still be seen on the footer of Case-Mate’s website, above, where a link under “Press” shows a link, now dead, to Verizon iPhone cases.  Google also cached the text of the Verizon iPhone 4 case, below.

It’s not surprising that Case-Mate is aware of the Verizon iPhone – case manufacturers typically get specs of upcoming devices long before the devices are launched.  The only remaining question, it seems, is when will Apple announced the Verizon iPhone.
