HTC’s Windows Phone 7-powered Spark hits the FCC, coming to AT&T?

Developing:  Yes, the release of Windows Phone 7 is quickly approaching.  Today, HTC passed a device described as a “Windows Phone” through the FCC.  The device has the model number PD26110, and features support for GSM850/1900, and WCDMA bands II and V.  Support for WCDMA bands II and V is a good indicator that the device will find a home on AT&T’s network in the United States.

Coincidentally, Engadget just posted some pics of a Windows Phone 7 device from HTC called the Spark.  Although FCC filings don’t list a marketing name for the PD26110, we’re pretty confident that the device is the Spark.

We’ll update you as we learn more.
