You Rock Guitar’s GameFlex cartridge for the Nintendo Wii appears on the FCC
You Rock Guitar isn’t your standard controller for music playing games. Unlike the button-based controllers for Guitar Hero, the You Rock Guitar is similar to an actual guitar, with real strings and a whammy bar.
Another cool feature of the You Rock Guitar is the device’s ability to work to work with both the PS3 and Wii, with Xbox 360 support coming soon as well. That means you don’t have to buy different controllers for different platforms.
This is accomplished with the GameFlex controller. This system consists of a USB dongle and the GameFlex cartridge, above. This enables the YouRock guitar to sync with both the PS3 and Wii over Bluetooth.
The GameFlex cartridge for the Wii has not yet been released, but today, the device made an appearance on the FCC. This is a good indication that You Rock Guitar-ers will soon be able to take their talents to the Wii.
