Pics of RIM’s BlackBerry 9670 emerge, reveal clamshell QWERTY goodness

Boy Genius got their hands on some interesting pics of a new BlackBerry clamshell today. The device, dubbed the BlackBerry 9670, has a wide body that accommodates the full QWERTY Blackberry keypad that we’ve grown to love.
The BlackBerry 9670 is a CDMA device, although there’s no indication what CDMA carrier it will land on. Accented in chrome, the device sports RIM’s BlackBerry OS 6.0, along with a 5 MP camera, 360 x 480 internal display, large external display, and WiFi.
The design of the 9670 is bound to be a source of debate among BlackBerry faithful. While we do appreciate the full QWERTY keypad on a clamshell, the 9670 is a bit wide for our liking. Either way, we’ll get a better idea once we’re able to handle the device – BGR’s leaked pics likely do not do the 9670 justice.
