Quanta’s QW6 netbook passes through the FCC

Quanta Computer’s QW6 netbook passed through the FCC today, thanks to a filing by Realtek Semiconductor.  The device sports a 1.3 MP webcam, 3 USB ports, HDMI port, memory card reader, and what appears to be a button-less trackpad.

The user manual for the QW6 doesn’t give any details about the device’s processor, although it does appear to have a netbook form factor.  External pics of the device reveal that the QW6 is quite wide, possibly indicating a 16:9 screen.  We’ll need to wait for more specs to be sure, however.

At this point there is no branding on the QW6, but we’d assume that Quanta is OEMing the device for a third party.  We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
