Qisda’s QD060B00 eBook reader makes an appearance on the FCC
Qisda Corporation was formed in 2007 when BenQ split its OEM and branded business. Products with BenQ branding are still offered by BenQ corporation, while the company’s OEM business was renamed Qisda Corporation.
On Friday, Qisda passed an eBook reader called the QD060B00 through the FCC. the device features a 6” capacitive touch screen, 2 GB of internal memory, 802.11 b/g WiFi and MicroSD expansion. The eInk screen on the QD060B00 displays 16 gray levels and has a 4:3 aspect ratio.
The QD060B00 doesn’t appear to have any branding. However, test reports for the device show two alternate model numbers: ES600 and EQ-600. The ES600 shows up on Alibaba.com, however no pricing is available and you must contact the manufacturer for more info.
