Daria SVE00 netbook from FIC passes through the FCC

FIC, aka First International Computer, is known for its OEM parts and systems.  Today, the company passed the interesting-looking Daria SVE00 netbook through the FCC.

The screen of the SVE00 is slightly smaller than the bottom of the netbook, so the base of the netbook protrudes around the sides and front edge of the device when it’s closed.  Still, the netbook measures only 11.2” x 8.5” x 1.0”, and weighs 2.65 pounds.

The screen on the SVE00 measures 10.1”, and under the hood the SVE00 rocks an Intel N450 Atom, integrated graphics, up to 2 GB of RAM, Bluetooth, 3G WWAN and 802.11 b/g/n.  The device comes with a 3 cell battery that lasts up to 4 hours.

FIC will probably sell the SVE00 in the US through an OEM partner.  No word on pricing or availability.
