Ablecom HD Multimedia Home Server – Windows 7 media server powered by Intel Atom, Nvidia Ion
This glossy black box from Ablecom passed through the FCC today. Known as the HD Multimedia Home Server, this device rocks an Intel Atom 330 processor and an Nvidia Ion GPU. With two internal 2.5” drive bays and one external drive bay, this device can be configured with a ton of storage and a Blu Ray drive. You can also add an external TV tuner for TV recording.
The HD Multimedia Home Server relies on Windows 7 Media Center to manage media. It can also act as a Windows Home Server to give you advanced sharing capabilities.
While the Atom doesn’t inspire confidence with multi-tuner media recording, this does seem like a decent server for your media. No word on pricing or availability.
