Super-thin LG XNote LGX30 netbook makes an appearance on the FCC
This impressive netbook from LG made a Saturday appearance on the FCC. Called the LGX30 (not to be confused with LG’s XPION X30 nettop), this netbook has a slick, super-thin design that looks great, and weighs only 1.74 pounds (with 3 cell battery).
The LGX30 is a Windows 7 netbook that rocks an Intel Atom processor (no info on what type of Atom). The device has an 11.6” LCD screen (1366×768), SSD hard drive, Bluetooth, webcam, b/g/n WiFi, multicard reader, and Intel GMA 500 video card.
Although it’s difficult to see in the picture above left, the LGX30 does have a track pad with left and right buttons. The trackpad also supports multitouch gestures.
We have no info on the availability of the LGX30. To date, LG’s computers have rarely surfaced in the US. We’re hoping, however, that LG’s filing today signals a push to enter the US market in 2010. If that’s the case, the sleek LGX30 is certainly a good effort.
More pics after the jump.
