FlyCamOne (FCOIII) from Acme the game company

image

I’ve never heard of Acme the game company either, but this German company has come up with something pretty slick here.  The FlyCamOne is a microSD-based camera that takes, as far as I can tell, VGA video, photos and audio.  You can also configure the FCOIII to take video when motion is detected, so you can mount the device as a security camera, I suppose.  The FCOIII even outputs to VR glasses, so you can view your videos in private.

Who knows when and if this thing will come to the US…it looks pretty heavily targeted at the EU market for now, but despite the low res camera I’m kind of impressed at all the functionality that’s packed into this little device.  Oh, and one more thing, I have no idea what the antenna is for.  It’s not even mentioned in the user manual.

HTC reveals label location of PB74120. But not much else.

The HTC PB74120 hit the FCC on Thursday, but there wasn’t much to see.  We do know the device will operate on UMTS/HSDPA networks, and will have a camera and bluetooth…but that’s about it.

Here’s a pretty basic phone, seemingly targeted at the youth market.  It’s a basic clamshell design with a camera – no word on what carrier this guy will land on.

I get marketing to kids with mispelled words, like brats with a ‘z’ and cool with a ‘k’…but let’s face it – in 2009 every cool kid above age 6 knows how to say ‘iPhone.’

ADC InterReach Fusion Wideband ADCP-77-044, carrier infrastructure goodness

I’m thinking there’s not a ton to write about this thing.  As far as I can tell, it’s used by carriers to deploy 3G/4G networks.  And there’s nothing wrong with that.

Aztech HW550-3G 3G Router for contract-breaking goodness

I wonder how carriers feel about these 3G routers.  On one hand, they offer devices like the Mifi 3G router, but on the other they can’t really be that happy about a single 3G connection being shared between a ton of users.

Either way, the Aztech HW550-3G does just that.  It’s not the first device of it’s kind, but I’m eager to see more of the 3G routers out there in the future.
